Cuckfield has a number of heritage buildings.

- Borde Hill, a 16th Century house with a 20th Century garden
- Holmsted Manor, from an Elizabethan iron forge to a 20th Century manor house
- Mill Hall, a Victorian family home which became a School for the Deaf
- Union Workhouse, completed in 1845 and ultimately used as a general hospital for Mid Sussex
